I have been taking classes and painting for about 15 years, mostly using watercolor and more lately, pastel. What interests me is the challenge of taking an image from what you can see and rendering it onto paper or board. Color is what catches my attention but I've learned that composition makes or breaks the work. I'm looking to create something that pleases the eye, that resonates.
